We respectfully acknowledge the passing of Barry Coombes, a long-serving trustee of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust and a key figure in our early history.
Barry was the best friend and long-time business partner of Brian Perry. Their shared love of water skiing and snow skiing led Barry to join Brian Perry Ltd as a Manager in 1963, beginning a successful partnership that helped shape the company’s growth over several decades. His steady involvement over the years played a significant role in guiding Brian Perry Ltd through its early development.
A dedicated trustee, Barry served on the Brian Perry Charitable Trust for many years, retiring in 2014.
Barry passed away peacefully on 11 October 2024, at the age of 87, with his family by his side. His contributions to both Brian Perry Ltd and the Brian Perry Charitable Trust are remembered with gratitude.
